Introducing STEK DYNOtop

What is DYNOtop?

STEK DYNOtop is a revolutionary windshield protection film made from TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane), the same core ingredient used in our industry-leading PPF films such as DYNOshield and FORCEshield.

Why TPU? Unlike PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) films commonly used in the market, TPU has a soft, impact-absorbing membrane that provides far greater protection against rock chips and road debris.

PET-based films require laminated topcoats to resist scratches, yellowing, and staining. Unfortunately, these topcoats often fail. When the film is heat-shrunk to conform to a windshield’s curvature, delamination occurs, leaving the film looking hazy and damaged.

DYNOtop is different.
  • Our unique liquid topcoat penetrates deep into the TPU, creating a bond that prevents delamination.
  • This results in a stronger, longer-lasting product.
  • DYNOtop is also hydrophobic, meaning rain rolls off effortlessly at highway speeds.
  • And when the coating eventually wears down, it can be refreshed with a STEK ceramic coating application, designed specifically for DYNOtop.

Why Invest in Windshield Protection Film?

Modern windshields are more expensive than ever—and replacing one is no small ordeal.

  • Costly replacements: Many new vehicles require advanced windshields that cost thousands of dollars. For example, a Rivian R1S replacement invoice totaled $3,220.45.
  • ADAS recalibration: Today’s vehicles rely on ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) such as lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and even semi-autonomous driving. After a windshield replacement, these systems must be recalibrated, often adding $500–$1,000+ in extra costs—not to mention additional time without your vehicle.

For older and classic vehicles, windshield replacement can be even more challenging:

  • Some glass is discontinued and impossible to source.
  • High-end brands like Ferrari may only produce windshields for classic cars in small production runs every few years. These windshields can cost $10,000 or more, not including installation.

What is ADAS Calibration?

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) ensure your safety by using cameras and sensors. After a windshield replacement, these must be precisely aligned and fine-tuned.

  • Many glass shops are not equipped to perform calibration.
  • Often, vehicles must be taken to dealerships, adding extra time, labor, and cost.

Is Windshield Protection Film for Everyone?

DYNOtop is ideal for:

  • Specialty vehicles that require extra care
  • Modern cars with ADAS systems
  • **Classic cars **with rare or discontinued glass

While DYNOtop can be applied to daily drivers, keep in mind:

  • Regular use of wipers may cause scratches or marring over time.
  • For some, this may be noticeable after months or even weeks.
  • For others, the film may last for years without concern.

If maximum protection is your priority, DYNOtop is the most advanced solution available today.
